All Saints Cathedral, Tanzania

all-saints-cathedral-construction-01REIDsteel carried out the design and construction of the roof steel frame work and sheeting, including the transepts and the semi circular Sanctuary and Entrance Galilee.

The Cathedral building walls were built principally in local stone by local craftsmen.

The image to the left shows the Rev. Hugh Williams of Christchurch Priory and Rollo Reid, Technical Director of REIDsteel, during the church service of blessing before shipment of the new structure for All Saints Cathedral, Mpwapwa, Tanzania.

You can not imagine the excitement and encouragement…to see in the photographs a reality of what we dreamt about for so long.
